Artists- and Architects-in-Residence

The MAK Center Artists- and Architects-in-Residence program supports interdisciplinary practitioners working at the intersection of art, architecture, design, and critical research. Residents are invited to develop site-responsive projects that engage the MAK Center’s historic houses, archives, and public programs. The program emphasizes experimentation, scholarship, and dialogue, situating contemporary practice within broader cultural, social, and architectural histories. Residencies culminate in public-facing outcomes such as exhibitions, talks, publications, or installations.
